´Transformation´ Group-exhibition members Kunsthuis Waterland

The theme indicates to the essential transformation which will be necessary in the coming years. Due to global warming, our energy use, housing construction, consumption, dealing with nature and biodiversity, land use, water management and migration will have to change. 32 KHW-member artists, o.a.Yolanda Eveleens, present their vision on these problems in a wide range of forms and techniques.

Representation of the melting of the permafrost: the peat-soil in the arctic regions, that was frozen for millennia. By the global warming, CO2 and methane will be released, probably causing an enormous acceleration of that same process of global warming.
