  • 'Follow Suit'

    On this End-of-the-year-/Sales-exhibition 31 artists show work based on the theme ‘Follow Suit’. Yolanda Eveleens shows several recent etchings, e.g. ‘This side up’: an upside down floating mountain as a light-bearing calyx with lava splashing out, or ‘Northern Lights’: a teepee of birch stems radiating light, representation of the special relation to light, sun and cosmos in arctic regions.

  • Celtic Festival

    On Sunday 4 september 2016 Yolanda Eveleens shows 12 of her poetic prints on a Celtic Festival in the Alkmaarder Hout (free access). In addition to her etchings she will display the original illustrations of 'The fate of the Princes of Dyfed', a Celtic Epic illustrated by her, based on the 12th century myth of Pwyll and Rhianon from Dyfed in Wales. The book will be for sale.

    Yolanda Eveleens exhibits 14 etchings in the practice of Dermavita. A.o. garments made of organic matter such as leaves, feathers or insects: an ode to vulnerability. Fitting in a paramedical practice is the etching 'Incarnation', a garment with a transparent skin in which the inner world of muscles, veins and organs becomes visible.     Yolanda Eveleens exhibits 10 etchings in Gallery the Old Townhall in Aalsmeer, with plants as a main theme. By exploring processes of growth and decay, she tries to grab the essence of life.
